mum went to rent some hk shows the other day and the person introduced her this hk travelogue programme. various hk stars went to explore places such as china, tibet, india, dubai, france, thailand etc. its pretty interesting, especially the nice sceneries and some of the facts that i've learnt from watching the dvd:
this episode introduced tibet:
tibet - its located in the highlands and air supply there is pretty thin/limited so oli healthy ppl can sort of like visit there?i saw how they pound the goats milk until it became a pile of solidified oil/butter (goats milk is tHat fat). and they cut down the goats' ear and strung them into a string and hang in their houses - the more ears u have, the more affluent u are. they also have to move houses once their goats finishes the grass at their current place.they know nothing abt tv, computers etc and they are so contented with their simple life.
but they also showed some short intro on these countries:
dubai: the moment u are born, u get a land from the government and the gov oso give u a some of money (to manage ur land if im not wrong). its so pretty there!
china: the kids there are trained to be acrobats since the age of 4 then see parts of their training programme its like so harsh la - until they cry u know. so poor thing. im realli fortunate.
thailand: theres this group of ppl called the Karens ppl who define beauty as having black teeth (they smear smething over their teeth to make it real bLacK), long necks, and big earholes that even a ping pong ball can go through. i tink its so fascinating so i went to find some pics on yahoo to show u all. i felt pain and uncomfortable for them having those rings of metal around their necks, and having such a big ear hole. but to them, its realli considered beautiful.
it felt like i travelled to so many places in the world having watched this dvd. im gonna ask my mum rent it again! and i realli feel that im very fortunate and blessed with all that i have - having seen the living conditions in certain countries.

i spent like 5 hrs packing my room yest and finally it looked as if when i first moved in 2 1/2 years ago. its not messy anymore! haha. i canot tahan seeing alot of things on the outside and so i had to squeeze no is pack (lol) them all into the cupboard.
the study table is free of things le wahah!
cus everything else is packed into the cabinet! lol..

played online puzzle wif ms shoot yest. very fun. but see until going to becum bean chicken eyes. first puzzle we took 32 mins to complete, second we took 10 mins or so and the last one we took 4 mins. and ms shoot, i've UPDATED.
