went parkway after school today wanting to pick up some stuffs and mum asked me to shun bian buy pineapple and bananas. im afraid that i will forget about it so i decided to get it from the cold storage first. go until there then alamak! i realised that i dont know how to choose a pineapple in its original form (but the without skin one i know haha). so i stand there and see and see and then i finally decided on a particular one and wanted to reach for it. but it was placed right smack in the middle of the other fruits and reaching for it is a little tough so in the end was that i got poked by the pineapple 'leaves' until i bleed. i didnt know that the 'leaves' of the pineapple was so hard and spikey (thought they were of those of soft strawberries kind) - i was sort of grabbing it by the 'leaves' la. not that gushing kind of bleeding though, my fingers looked as if they were poked a needle many times. anyway, had a hard time choosing the bananas too - either riped and dented or unriped and smooth.
buying of 2 fruits initially turned into 3 bags of groceries in the end. lol. all because i decided to make some inari(s)! after cold storage, i went to buy somemore stuffs and lugging 3 bags of groceries while buying other things erm, how to put it into words leh, tough? carry the bags on one hand, trying to open your wallet and taking out cash, receiving change etc. which reminds me of this scenario that i saw the other day when i went marketing. this mummy was carrying her (3 year old?) daughter on one hand and doing grocery shopping at the same time (i believe mummies have to do marketing at least twice a week)? amazing isnt it? im sure a child will definitely weigh heavier than 3 bags of groceries. even without a child, mummies also have to carry many bags of marketing stuffs. 妈妈们真伟大.
i decided to get the rest of my stuffs another day. lol.
anyways, i made a mess of the kitchen!

this is only part of the mess.

tada! my favourite inari(s)!
heh, but they are not the original inari, know why? cause theres no rice inside! lol. too much rice makes me feel disgusted. so i tried making it without rice (i didnt buy the sushi rice anyway).
not that bad, just that its a little too salty? eh, but its supposed to be sweet. so i think its the hotate thats salty cause i find the tuna one super nice!

i bought this!
and i was wondering if im supposed to mix it with normal rice or sushi rice? which im sure everyone knows the answer just that maybe my brain wasnt functioning well at that moment (yeah i have some things bothering me).
and so this packet of sushi mix and seaweed will be left in the cupboard till i get the rice the next time!
till then!
*food sometimes is the best solace a person can find in. look at my size and you can guess how many times i got emo-ed during my 20+ years of life*
