Caribbean Cruise 2007
Day 1:
We reached Spore Cruise Centre ard 1.30pm and waited for every1 else to turn up b4 dad and mum went to check-in. but this check-in requires every1 to be present at the counter as the person wanted to see every1's faces. it was people mountain people sea. very crowded. it was also then that we got our Sea Pass.
see the hole punched at the bottom right? it means i canot drink alcohol. lol. my dad didnt want me to drink. haha i dun drink anyway. btw, if there are 2 holes punched, means the person canot go into the casino too. and i had no idea why they didnt include my english name.
next, we boarded the bus that drove us into the PSA where the ship is parked. woa first time into the PSA - it was huge and i tink there are like 10000+ cars and lorries and vans and whatever vehicles parked inside. when we reached, we still had to queue for quite sme time b4 gg into the ship. it doesnt help that it was raining at that time too. there was this slopping ladder steps that we had to climb up onto in order to go into it and it looks wobbly la (it is indeed very wobbly and we had to carry our lugguage on our hands too). there were also 2 guys holding umbrellas at the unsheltered part sheltering all of us. lol. i realli wondered if their arms are tired and they are all soaked thru. poor thing. lol. oh ya i forgot to say that they are a lot of handsome guys ard - cheryl's saliva was practically dripping non-stop onto the alr wet ground =P actually mine also la oli nt as much as hers. haha.
from the time we got down from the bus till we got into our staterms, the situation to me was like so chaotic la. and the rain is realli nt helping at all. so after we settled dwn in our rms, we went for our late lunch at deck 9. eat halfway then got the announcement abt the compulsory safety drill. and for this they were realli strict abt it, they realli wanted everyone to participate in it. so we have to leave the food unfinished and go back to our rm to take the lifejackets and assemble at the deck. bloody hot can wear the lifejacket and im a mess la. then i saw people holding the tv station kind of camera walk towards us leh! lol. i quickly turn my head round the other side then the person purposely walk towards me leh. i duno its shot for wad la but im thinking if it got broadcasted on spore tv then i die liao. cus i really looked dishellved. lol.
taken after we returned to the room. i look so nan kan can.
dinner time we went for fine dining. it was where the Sim family joke came abt. damn funny and we luffed at the joked for 2 days straight. lol. food was nt bad. but i didnt take pics on it on the first day. after dinner was performance at deck 6 - which was fabulous.
after the performance, cheryl, me and grandpa went exploring the ship. and we went shopping at the shops there. after that, nth much to do so we sat by the poolside and chatted for an hr plus in the windy environment. haha. my grandpa said - when fate comes, you cannot run away from it. nice chat.
after that, we went into the casino, walk one round then went back to slp alr.
Day 2:
woke up and went to have breakfast at deck 9 again. their plates so big la - that the cutlery kept slipping into it and onto the food and got oily. abit ma fan la.
haha. one hand holding bun, the other holding pancake. cute.
since we were alr at port kelang, the shops and casino will not be opened until later in the night at 9pm. so we got nth to do after breakfast. went to the arcade with dexter but the machines sme faulty de la, so eat money. US$ smemre. haha then we all went to deck 10 where sme played mahjong, cards and sme jus sit ard and chat to pass the time.

haha. blackjack anyone? i was the big winner that day. cheryl lost.
my dad, our waiter. lol. he went all the way to deck 9 to get drinks for us.
US dollars. everything on the ship is counted in US$.
after that, cheryl and i got bored and decided to walk round the ship. and tada! we decided to go to:
US$7.50 per cup.
and everywhere we went, we jus snap and snap.
snap.
still not enuf.

haha. no comments.

i wonder what my fringe resembles.
they have this too!

but 1 thing i dun like is that they have super big gaps at the toilet doors there. so the person queuing outside can actually see what the person is doing inside.
eh, i took this when im inside the cubicle. i nv tou pai ren hor. haha. im not a pervert.
after our walk-about, we went back to bathe to get ready for dinner. and i saw this on my bed:
i tink its a towel elephant if im not wrong. and they place my specs on it too. so cute. cheryl has it on her bed too.
for this trip, my parents actually have to go for a briefing and they say to wear more formal for the dinner on the 2nd night. and for that, everybody was like busy finding and getting what to wear, a tiring but fun process. at first, the piece of paper state cocktail dresses for females and suits for guys. lol. then ppl ask at the briefing session y so formal. then they say dunid so formal, jus be presentable, no shorts, bermudas etc.
and off we went for dinner at the same place!
i forgot almost everyting i learnt from IBS! lol.

some food that cheryl and i ordered. nv took pics of the rest.
my appetizer: lobster bisque.
cheryl's appetizer: escargots. i tried. super yummy!
my main course: my favourite linguine with mushrooms! yummy!
my dessert: vanilla ice cream with berries. very nice.
cheryl's dessert: souffle.
actually oso dunid to wear so nice. becus also got ppl wear shorts in. but of cus fine dining we wun wear shorts la but at least dunid wear heels ma. i wore heels for like 1 and a half days for the entire trip and my feet felt as if they went to war for 100 days. damn pain can.
after dinner was performance again but it was not so nice compared to the 1st night's. after that we went to take photos at deck 9.
too bad bro werent here. hes in camp.

after a round of photo taking, everyone flocked to the shops.
i taught him to stick his tongue out. im such a bad jie jie. lol.
we took this pic immediately after we bought it. see the price tag still hanging? lol. and i oli saw the scratches on mine the next day. heart pain. and it cost me US$30. luckily its nt obvious.
then the adults went casino while cheryl and i went round the ship again. and began our 2nd round of cam-whoring:
cheryl carn do this, so i did it myself. haha.
finally a normal one.
then we went to the library and competed on Sudoku, went to deck 6 and laze on the couch, luff like nobody's business. and we wanted to go to deck 10 again. but when the lift door open, it became a Disco! ppl were dancing in front of the lift with loud music. lol. i nv expected that and was stunned and jus pressed the close door button. haha.
went for supper, then went for a walk ard the casino again. their casino no security guards de leh, so even my little cousin oso can go in leh, lol. after that we went to bed.
Day 3:
we had breakfast. then HOME SWEET HOME!
haha. overall, we still preferred cruise virgo becus they have more activities onboard. but 1 thing i wan to say is that the service on Caribbean Cruise is super good. thumbs up! anyway, its nv boring when u have ur family members with u on holiday, luffing, talking and cracking jokes.
oh ya, for those who are interested, they are coming back nxt yr as - Legend of the Seas.

okok, i spend more than 3hrs on this post alr. and i haven even start packing for my macau trip on tues. and ms shoot is waiting for me to lend her my eyes and ears for her to rant. so off i go!
