im back from my 5D4N Macau trip! it was fun! but i still haven finish recharging my battery even after 2 days. haha.

Day 1:

we took an afternoon flight, so by the time we reached macau it was ard 5 plus 6pm. we booked the hotel bus to fetch the 24 of us to the hotel. Tiger Airways is nt really that comfortable to sit in. spore airlines is much better. but too bad, tiger airways is the only plane to fly from spore to the macau airport. anyway, after checking in and unpacking stuffs, we went out for dinner at a restaurant near the hotel. i tell u, the zebra crossing in macau is drawn for fun. i think they haf too much paint to waste. the cars dun stop at all and everyone has to be extremely careful when crossing the road. i remembered there was a dish that was served - duck tongue. it was fried and stir fried with garlic i tink. i didnt dare to try it. i thot it was disgusting. but then everyone asked me to try and cheryl said it was nice. but the moment i chew on it, it was like a water balloon went burst. eeeew! the raw duck tongue's image came to my mind la and i gagged on it. then got bone smemre. it was just disgusting. after dinner we went for a walk at the Fisherman's Wharf. and saw a gigantic beautiful xmas tree.

although its supposed to be winter season there, its not as cold as what i had imagined it to be. but its still better than spore la. much much better. its very cooling la not shivering cold. everyone didnt haf the chance to wear the jackets that they brought there. after that, we walked to Sands building, a very huge casino building. it was the first time i saw a multi-story casino. very classy and nice. went in to take a look with cheryl b4 heading back to the hotel with my other cousins while the adults had fun inside. haha.

after 1 whole day, this pair of new shoes is giving me lots of blisters. my aunt said i nv bite them b4 wearing them.

we then saw the room service menu on the table and decided that we were hungry and decided to order some food. lol.

yeah, they have it in singaRpore style. lol.

yummy!

rm service is usually charged to the room and u settle it when u check out. so i was expecting the person to let me sign the receipt or smething. so when he presented me with the bill i was... how to say? like lost for a moment. then i tried asking in cantonese. though not that gd but still understandable - but i dunno why i stuttered sia. haha. so in the end was that i sign the receipt and the guy will go and ask if its ok. but its not, so he have to come all the way back and i have to pay him. then we asked for tomato sauce. he has to send it to us again. cheryl and i felt bad abt making him run up and down so many times. but of cus we gave him a tip la. haha. cheryl wanted to ask him to do more errands for us, so that we can see him more -becus he was a handsome guy! hahaha!

then we ended our night with a very (coloured) long talk.

Day 2:

after breakfast at the hotel, we began on our 1 day macau tour. first we went to the very long historied temple.

my father wanted to let us try putting the 'pao' - those kind u see in china during CNY. but alas, they dun allow it now, only during CNY. so we carn experience it for ourselves. wad a waste. nvm! we spent our time taking photos then. lol.

i just wanted to take photos and play with my shawl. bcus thats nt something i can do in spore - i will get heat rash. haha. and just nice the wind was chilly at that moment!

like that oso can take photo.

these 2 boys super cute can. squat and talk like that.

next we went to the macau tower.

cheryl and i wanted to bungee jump there. but adults dun allow. haha. then actually we wanted to try walking outside. but in the end oso nv. haha.

they oso have a Warner Bros shop in the building!

my boyfriend. stay away from him ah.

my fav childhood fren

next we proceeded to the very famous church.

very familiar? haha there was a scene of Goong (princess hours) that was shot there. remember the last episode where they got married in macau? it was exactly the same place. oh ya, nearby there was a very famous shop selling Portugese Egg Tarts.

pipping hot from the oven. bcus im allergic to egg tarts, i can oli take a bite. super yummy i tell u, u have to try it when u r there.

then we had lunch there.

in the midst of eating, we suddenly heard a loud 'piang!'. it was super scary can. another table there was a guy who smashed duno cup or plate onto the floor. everyone was like stunned can and nobody dare to look at them for too long. omg. then after that Allson (my cousin) who was seated near there told me that the gal was crying non stop. super scary the atmosphere.

next we proceeded to:

super nice and classy.

toilet.

even almost everything in the toilet is made of gold. inside there are 300 (branded) shops. but we didnt have time to finish walking all.

like the one in genting. but the difference is that theirs is rowed by a real person. wheares genting's one is a mannequin.

the person between us is real u noe. i was so afraid he will suddenly BOO! me (which he did to another person) that i didnt dare stand too near. lol.

our last stop for the day is St Paul's! we made it last becus it was the place which was selling the famous local products. and we didnt wan to carry the shopping bags here and there.

was walking to it when i saw this sign:

da san ba? lol.

St Paul's!

the traffic in macau is damn terrible everywhere. and they have the narrowest single lanes ever. see the bus stuck in the middle of human crowd behind me?

after this, we went straight back to the hotel and sleep. it was a long day for us. we met up for dinner at 8pm at this steamboat restaurant. my parents came here b4 and said their seafood are duper fresh - which indeed was.

the poor prawns that were still alive and kicking despite being in this condition. im so sorry prawns.

xiang ba bang.

fish slices.

after that was walking and sight-seeing. night life of macau super beautiful. and they have casinos everywhere. realli everywhere.

there was this water fountain that was extremely beautiful. my cousin videoed the whole of it. shall post it when he send me.

water fountain behind.

after that, adults went for their casino-time while us children went back to the hotel, to order another round of room service! lol. their food is realli nice - so much so that we ordered it everyday.

Day 3:

we went over to china today. to zhuhai. it was a day of shopping for us. it was so fun to haggle prices. lol.

candied haw anyone?

oh ya, after lunch we were standing outside the restaurant and there was a hawker peddling porn vcds nearby us la. at that time i was holding dexter's hand when he pointed to the hawker and said to me: eileen jie jie u see the jie jie there never wear shirt one. lol omg. i immediately use my hands cover his eyes sia.

also along the way we saw a lot of kids as young as 3 or 4 performing street acts. like biting onto smething then bend their bodies backwards then spin themselves. realli made us see how fortunate we are. realli poor thing u noe, seeing them like that. i tink theres a bad syndicate thats forcing them to do this leh.

all in all, china is a pretty complicated place to be in. nt so comfortable in there la. and after 1 whole day of walking, we were all dead beat. and the customs damn long sia the queue. so we all decided to not go out for dinner and called room service instead.

becus yesterday's rm service was called in my cousin's rm, we were wondering if tonight the handsome guy will bring the food to our rm again. lol.

after dinner, we went over to our cousins' rm to challenge each other on the mario kart.

Day 4:

everyone woke up late today and so we went over to Yaohan for breakfast. super long nv see Yaohan alr. haha. sight-seeing again after it. and it was during breakfast that i had my grandpa almost lost his passport the night b4 at the casino. he and my mum had alr reached back at our hotel when my mum asked him wheres his bag. and then he knew he left it there. they quickly took a cab back and ran all the way there. by then, managers and security guards had alr crowded round the bag. i tink they suspected that it was a bomb. lol. then my mum said they carried it by 1 finger leh. then they had to take photo of it and so on so forth. so lucky that my grand pa found his bag. if nt it wud be troublesme w/o a passport.

us cousins. 3 more missing.

youngest to oldest.

Tang Dynasty. makes me feel like im in china. lol.

where do u wana go? i lead u? lol.

nice scenery macau has.

they can reali pose right?

we posed too.

its ice cream time!

my fav sorbet flavour!

after that us kids went back to the hotel again while the adults went for their casino-ing. lol. and we were hungry yet again. so rm service again!

my mum. our nanny. haha.

damn unglam shot of me with my cold chocolate. and i canot open my mouth and smile becus the chocolate is inside! haha. aaron didnt gif me time to swallow my drink.

these are wad we do in the room (photograher: aaron):

lie here and there.

challenging each other on NDS.

my cute mum.

my crazie cousin. he tells me he is shen gong gong. lol!

they are all going to give me flak if they knew i post such photos of them =P

that very night, we went to a newly opened casino to take a look. and remember that theres a show shown on chnl 55 b4 called ren shen ma xi tuan, abt all those historical treasures? esp the bronze heads of animals?

they have the real one inside u know!

the words on the board reads: The Bronze Horse Head Of The Summer Palace Donated By Dr. Stanley Ho To China. Purchased for HK$69.1 Million.

and they have this at the casino too!

experiencing real snow!

see the little white flakes up there? they are actually soap suds la. haha. nice feeling nevertheless.

Day 5:

Had breakfast and then went over to Yaohan for some last minute shopping and also to buy those cuttlefish that we tried the day b4 and was so super nice. we spend like over HK1000+ on tidbits alone - cuttlefish, plums and so on. then it was time for us to go to the airport and back to spore!

it was such a fun trip. i tink it wudnt be so fun w/o all my family members. all the jokes, conversations and everything. so fun! we were practically luffing like mad everyday. esp the whole lot of us cousins. gave each other names like sorella, triumph, pierre cardin and even whisper, kotex and carefree! lol.

such an enjoyable trip!
