met up wif van and dix for lunch on sun and we went to vivo. wanted to have outback but cudnt find it there, so we went to:
and ordered:
grilled salmon
chicken crepe
an assortment of 'as you see in the pic'
to share.
the portions are humongous! lol and we were wondering how on earth are we gg to finish all that up. but,
1 min later~
all gone! haha.
all 3 courses are nice. i esp love the fried potato stuffed with bacon. yummy yummy! and nt forgetting the 'smashed potato'(invented by dix) that was so beautifully arranged like a flower. (note: its mashed potato) lol.
and nxt came desserts.
by that time we were realli full so decided just to call a little bit and share.
this is our little bit:
duno wad its called but its like apple strudel with vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream.
its called mud-something. like brownie with vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream.
actually we didnt expect the portions to be so huge becus they are priced at ard $7 to $8 bucks and at these prices, the dessert portions that u usually eat at swensens or changing appetite are quite manageable.

both are equally delicious. but more than half of the desserts were left. we wasted food and felt bad abt it. but we were realli full to the brim alr.
all these came up to abt $70 i tink, after a 15% discount.
after stuffing so much food + water, its time to pay the water bill ---> which is to go to the washrooms (i wonder where i heard the water bill thingy from, forgot alr.)
this is wad most ppl like to do in the washrooms.
then we went to the pet shop. the hamsters so cute~~~ i want leh! but the cheapest oso $10 per hamster. then of cus u haf to get at least 2 rite? so that they can haf a companion. not to mention the food, beverage, lodging and gym equipment for them.
*hints - x'mas is coming!*
i sort of regretted nt taking up cheryl's offer, becus her tuition teacher sells at $5 per hamster which i shld have agreed to buy then. and when i see her 2 cute hamsters i jealous! lol.

then we went build-a-bear workshop and went ooh-ing aah-ing over the cutesy little stuffs there and then into toys-r-us.
er, i dun haf any comments for those 2 pics above.
i've been wanting to try on the korean's chao nian gao ever since i started on my korean craze and just nice the basement of vivo sells it. so we decided to go and try.
the one on the extreme left is the one. the colour is nt as red as the one in korea but its nt bad! the other 2 bowls are from the hk stall - chuan chuan smeting. the fishballs are so nice and springy that u culd bounce it from tanah merah to johor.
after that, we left for the cable car ride. the last cable car ride i took in spore was like 12 yrs ago. and that time i took the normal one. then when dix said that we will be gg on the glass cable car, i said i didnt want to go on it becus i was wearing a skirt and will expose myself. lol. i forgot that we will be sitting down (becus i was standing for the whole journey - the one i took in korea) and also, being the sua-ku person i am, i imagined the cable car to be made up of oli glass panels for all 6 sides! haha. and i was asking myself if the glass will break under my weight. lol.
thats the glass that didnt break under my weight. haha.

actually theres smething that i wanted to feedback to the management. can install aircons into the cable cars nt? ok la its nt so bad when its in the open cus there will be air streaming in - but limited. and at the part where ppl load and unload into cable cars, its like damn suffocating. wanted to faint sia. or no nid aircon la, mini fans oso can. ppl wan then they use. lol. yea, im so terribly afraid of the heat.
we took so many photos (abt 150+ of them) that it wudnt be possible for me to upload all of them. so i tink i shall show oli sme of them:
after the cable car ride it was alr abt 7pm and mr dix had to be back at camp by 9pm. and he still need to pack his bag and shower! so we rush rush rush hahah. luckily there wasnt a jam at AYE and he managed to reached his camp on time.
i really enjoyed myself terribly on that day.
