im bored, theres nth to do, so i've decided to post some random topics:
we went for 'Pen Cai' the other day for dinner. 'Pen cai' is a one dish meal, with all the food put into a pot. dad went to eat b4 and said that its very nice. however mum and i had some reservations abt it cus we tried it once on a Hong Kong trip. the tour guide (we went on a one-day city tour that kind) brought us to this sleazy place and they served us one big pot filled full with vegetables, mushrooms, and i forgot what are the rest. but the thing is the whole place is like so unhygenic can,
then its like its such a huge pot that we carn even finish. everyone on the table just picked at the food and i was wondering with so much unfinished food do they bring it back to the kitchen and arrange and add on more to make it look like another new pot and serve it to another table of customers? eeks~ i want to vomit the moment i think abt it. luckily for the rest of the trip the food we found was nt too bad =.='
however, the environment in singapore de is so much better, and when the pot comes, it also looks better with a ceramic pot (the HK one uses a silver pot, like for ppl wash legs de *pukes*) and when the boss opens the lid of the pot - tadaaa!!
it looks so different from the hk one lar! and everyone went 'waaaa!' when we saw whats inside. haha. theres roast duck, prawns, brocolli, scallops, mushrooms, vegetables, lotus roots, white carrot, pork, fishballs and a lot more and it looks so much more delicious than the HK one. anyway, the boss is a HK-ger so all the dishes there is authentic HK food. this pot of 'pen cai' cost 288 bucks i tink and it serves 10, need to pre-order cus it take time to cook. the soup inside is damn delicious cus it took the essence of the white carrot, lotus roots, pork, veggies and so on, so sweet and nice! and the 10 of us carn even finish everything inside! 10 thumbs-up for this! hahah..

then, on the 20th, dad's bdae, we went out for dinner at thai's village. we ordered:
among other dishes. yummy!
and on the way home, we stop over at a petrol station and bro and i bought:
it was green tea and coke. :) fun!
